Dua for Daily Protection from Harm

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: A man came to the prophet (s.a.w. and said! "O Messen#er o$ A%%ah! I am su$$erin# because o$ a scorpion that stun# me yesterday.& He said! If you had said in the evening, Aoodhu bi kalimaat Allah hil-taammah min sharri ma khalaqa (I seek refuge in the perfect ords of Allah from the evil of that hich !e has created", it ould not have harmed you# .

In a re%ated hadith! 'haw%ah bint Ha(eem A%)*a%amiyyah said: "I heard the prophet (s.a.w. say: "+hoe,er ma(es a stop in some p%ace! then says! -A.oodhu bi (a%imaat A%%ah i%)taammah min sharri ma (ha%a/a (I see( re$u#e in the per$ect words o$ A%%ah $rom the e,i% o$ that which He has created !. nothin# wi%% harm him unti% he mo,es on $rom that p%ace& (narrated by Mus%im! 0123 .
