ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Multiple occupants living in the men's shelter observed smoke coming from the air ducts in the office of the dormitory. Fire fighters arrived and discovered a small fire burning within a dorm room. The cause of the fire was determined to be the result of an unattended portable electric heater. Fire and Life Safety code violations where observed during the investiagtion and the building was subsequently placed on a 24/7 fire watch until the violations are corrected.
