Topic: how tea
manufactured

Good morning to our subject teacher Miss Dodampe and my fellow friends
of SMK Cheras. Welcome to mori-mori tea factory. Today, I would like to talk
about how tea manufactured.

Firstly, the top bud and two leaves of the tea plant are plucked of by the
workers in the field. The workers will do this every morning. The fresh leaves that
are plucked then send to here for withering. The fresh leaves are spread on racks
or shelves; this will last for 18 to 24 hours. Here, we can see the process of
rolling; the withered leaves that we saw just now will be fed into rolling machine.
This process will break-up cells of the leaves and release juice from it; this will
last for 2 to 3 hours. Here, now we can see the fermenting room, the leaves are
allowed to ferment slight. The leaves are placed on shelves for half an hours to 5
hours.

We can see the fining process here, the withered leaves dried on trays over
furnace. After the fining process, the leaves will be sendingto here for cutting,
sifting, sorting and grading. The leaves are cut, sifted, sorted and graded. Here,
we can see that the tea leaves are packed into tea chest. After the tea leaves are
packed into tea chest, the tea leaves are exported. Before the tea leaves are send
to shops for sale, it is tasted by the expects.

Finally, the tea leaves are packed into small packets and will be sending for
sale in shops. This ends our trip for today. I hope that all of you are enjoying the
