ANNOUNCEMENT

The Council has decided that with effect from 1st September, 2008, for the purpose of clause (c) of Regulation 8 of the Compan! Secretaries Regulations, 1"82, the number of trainees to be sponsored to the Compan! Secretar! in #ractice (#CS) including a partner in a firm of Compan! Secretaries, will be e$ual to the number of !ears of continuous practice of the concerned member sub%ect to a ma&imum of ten trainees' ( #CS with two !ears of continuous practice will be entitled to onl! one trainee' )f the #CS surrenders his certificate of practice and starts his practice after a gap, he will be entitled to ha*e the same number of trainees as he was entitled when he surrendered his certificate of practice' This supercedes the earlier decision ta+en b!
