Pneumothorax History (central line placement, emphysema, trauma, tumor) No vascular markings beyond pleural line Ipsilateral lung collapsed/ more dense (depends on size) Elevation of ipsilateral hemidiaphragm (depends on size) Can hide behind ribs Look for tension pneumothorax (mediastinal shift away from pneumothorax)
