IV. Special Guest Speaker – The Hon. Jerry Goldblatt


Mr. Goldblatt is a Master’s Program alumnus of UIS. After 30 years of service, he retired from Merck
& Co., and he continues to be active in public affairs and community issues, in Sangamon County and
the City of Springfield. Mr. Goldblatt has served 3 elected terms on the Springfield School Board, and is
currently running for City Clerk, in a heated race against the incumbent.
