SUPERLATIVOS

Do you remember the five rules to form superlative of adjectives in English? We will review them here:

RULE 1 The superlative of a syllable adjectives are formed by adding endings - er and - est at the end of the adjective:

Cold >>coldest
RULE 2 The adjectives that end with vowel followed(consecutive) by a consonant duplicate the final consonant before adding the completions -est:

hot>>hottest
RULE 3
The adjectives

of two syllables ending in- Y change the Y TO A

and only then add the endings -est:

noisy >>noisiest
RULE 4
In

the case of adjectives of two or more syllables (e"cept those ending in-y) the superlative are formed with more and most:

beautiful> most beautiful


REGLA 5
Remember that the superlative irregular change completely! "ere are some:

good>>better>> best bad worse worst far >> farther further>>farthest furthest
