Preparing the Ragi Grains --------------------------1: Get around 1 kg of cleaned good quality Ragi grains.

2: Check the ragi grains, remove any stone or any other non ragi particles 3: Clean the grains in water, non ragi particles (like any dust, stone etc) will rise to the top. Remove these non ragi particles. 4: Repeat the above step 4-5 times to ensure Ragi is properly cleaned. 5: Put the ragi grains on muslin cloth (soft non-turkish towel will also do) ove rnight. This is to get the ragi sprouts. 6: Once the ragi grains are sprouted, dry them in the sun properly so that there is absolutely no moisture content. 7: If you cannot sun dry them, you can dry roast them. << The Ragi grains must be thoroughly dried to ensure that there is no moisture content. Any moisture content will spoil the grains.
