LOST IN TRANSLATION As I watch the movie Lost in translation, it made me think that people have different way of living in different geographic areas. Just like what happened to Bob Harris and Charlotte. The cultural analysis difference was seen on the film. Bob was culture shocked on the way of living in Japan. The first time the two went to Japan where hard especially for Charlotte. For Bob, the very obvious was the language where Bob had a hard time dealing and communicating with his co-workers in Suntory whisky product. Charlotte also observed the different culture of Japan especially when she went to the Monk shrine where the religion is different from her. Both Charlotte and Bob got a hard time sleeping since their attitude toward time is different in their motherland compared to Japan. As a result, both of them have experienced Cultural change which at the end they slowly adapted it. Although both of them wants to go back to their homeland and dont want to stay longer in Japan, in the end, they have both adapted the lifestyle in Japan and soon realized that they will missed the place. They have changed their consumer decision process in the later part of the movie because they already have adapted the lifestyle in Japan and came to love it. Yet, they still need to go home since and go back to their original culture and lifestyle.
