Risk Factors of Diabetes

degree relative with diabetes (Family history)
member of high-risk population (example: aboriginal, Hispanic, Asian or African
descent)
history of impaired glucose tolerance or impaired fasting glucose
Vascular disease
History of gestational diabetes mellitus, baby with macrosomia
Hypertension
Dyslipidemia
Overweight
Abdominal obesity (apple shape body)
Polycystic ovary syndrome
Acanthosis nigricans
Schizophrenia


Insulin storage conditions
Should be stored in refrigerator
Can be stored at room temperature 28 days (1 month)
Do not shake vigorously
If you notice turbidity or vapors or precipitation, do not use, discard it.
