Biography
From a very young age I knew I wanted to be a teacher. My goal is to pursue this passion by creating a positive learning experience for young children. Im eager to share my knowledge with my students and look forward to sponsoring various clubs, organizations, and other extracurricular activities.

Professional Development in Education

Teaching Experience:
Student Teaching, Hamilton Elementary School, Spring 2014 - Planned, organized, and implemented an appropriate instructional program for fourth grade students using Common Core Standards, MO Standards, and Grade Level Expectations. Junior Experience, Skaith Elementary, Fall 2013 - Taught and aided the teacher in a second grade classroom five times a week. Gained experience in Readers Workshop, thematic unit planning, classroom management, and Response to Intervention lesson planning. Sophomore Experience, Bessie Ellison Elementary, Fall 2011 - Observed a fifth grade classroom during their science lessons twice a week. Assisting the teacher when needed.
