There were no corrections. Maria B made a motion to approve the minutes and Susanna T seconded it

Correspondence

-Michelle Z reported that only correspondences received besides membership forms. Treasurers Report: -Machel D reported that the beginning balance was $3182.07 for Health and Welfare Council and $138.82 for SHIP with a total beginning balance of $3,242.07. The ending balance is $3380.89. -Sharon M made a motion to accept the Treasurers report and Mary Lee O seconded it.

Budget

-Machel D reported about the expenses and went over the budget. -Cathy C made a motion to accept the budget and Mary Lee O seconded it. Committee Reports Executive: - Leadership Blair County Scholarship is not needed for the current class.

Audit: -Susanna T gave report for Robin B. On 09/14/12 the committee met. The committee reported that the books were balanced and Machel D does a great job. Dee M-S made a motion accept the audit report and Maria seconded it. Marketing: -Sharon M said the meeting notice and grant announcement were in the paper this week. Membership: -Michelle Z reported that currently there are 10 paid members. -The list was passed around to report any changes to contact information. Website: -Dee reported that on the home page for Health and Welfare Council there are links to members agencies. When the grant application is updated, Dee will put it on the website. Presentation: -Nathan Laird from Blair County Community Action presented on the Skanzit Program which turns paper documents into digitalized versions that can be sorted. -They got a grant to pay for the equipment so the cost to have documents scanned is only for labor. -Every employee signs a confidentiality agreement. There is always a supervisor in the room and no personal items are allowed in the room. -The server is located in another room that is kept locked. -Now that the grant has ended they would like to turn it into a business. -Documents are initially scanned and the quality of the scan is checked. Grant Reports and Announcement: -Mike reported that the grant application was emailed out and members only can apply. -Dee read the changes to the grant application. Susanna T made a motion to accept the changes and Cathy seconded it. Updates: -Everyone went around the room and discussed their agency updates. Adjournment: -Mike adjourned the meeting. -The next meeting will be held on Friday, November 30th at 8:00 AM at The Arc of Blair County.
