Introduction
The company that I have taken to make an internship report is Jamuna Bank Ltd. Jamuna Bank Ltd., the new generation private commercial bank, was established by a group of winning local entrepreneurs conceiving an idea of creating a model banking institution with different outlook to offer the valued customers, a comprehensive range of financial services and innovative products for sustainable mutual growth and prosperity. The Bank is being managed and operated by a group of highly educated and professional team with diversified e perience in finance and banking. The !anagement of the bank constantly focuses on understanding and anticipating customer"s needs. The bank gives special emphasis on # port, Import, Trade $inance, %!# and &etail 'redit to woman entrepreneurs. %mall and !edium #nterprises (%!#s) are accounting for 2* percent of +,-, ./ percent of industrial 0obs, and 2* percent of the total labor force in Bangladesh even though the prospective sector gets negligible facilitation from different support service providers. 1bviously, Jamuna Bank Ltd. as a commercial bank of Bangladesh has many things to do to flourish the %!#s because, if they flourish, %!#s will create new entrepreneurs, generate more 0obs and contribute to a great e tent to the national economy.

Origin of the Report


The internship is an integral part of the !B2 program. To fulfill the academic re3uirements of the internship I am re3uired to submit an internship report. %ince I am employed with Jamuna Bank Limited as a credit officer I decided to concentrate on

%!# financing of Jamuna Bank Limited. The report will cover the outcome of my observation and two years work e perience in Jamuna Bank Limited . 5hile working in the bank the standard operating procedures carried out by the bank related to the %!# financing has been observed and understood.

Scope
The report will cover an overview of Jamuna Bank Limited, its %!# financing, identification of problems regarding %!# loan, types of %!# and sector of %!# allocation of Jamuna Bank Ltd.

Objecti es of the Stud!(


General Objective

The general ob0ective of the study is to draw a comparative picture of %!# loan at Jamuna Bank Limited as well as view the current status of %!# loan. Specific Objective The specific focuses of the study are6 To find out the activities of credit management system. To depict the procedures followed for lending credit to the customers. To critically analy7e the performance of 2sset -roduct and Liability product of Jamuna Bank Limited. To describe the detailed operational procedure of %!# Loan along with associated benefits. To identify customers" level of satisfaction. To e plore the opportunities and competitive advantages that has been ignored by Jamuna Bank Ltd. To recommend ways and means to solve problems regarding %!# financing of Jamuna Bank Limited.

The report will be based mainly on observation method. The report will be characteri7ed by fle ibility with respect to the methods because formal research

method, formal research protocol and procedures may not be employed. It may not involve structured 3uestionnaire, large sample and probability sampling plans. The rules and regulations will be cited from various +overnment circulars, 'redit !anual of Jamuna Bank Ltd. 9 'redit policy guidelines published by Bangladesh bank. &aw data related to :%!#; may be collected from %!# ,ivision of Jamuna Bank Limited. Then all the information may be arranged and grouped according to their specific classification.

Time might be a ma0or constraint in accumulating all sorts of information. ,ue to time limitation many aspects might not be included in the study because %!# is a vast sub0ect. =on>disclosure of some basic information might occur in the report. #very organi7ation has their own secrecy that should not be disclosed to others. 5hile collecting data on Jamuna

Bank Ltd., it is obvious that all information can not be disclosed for the sake of confidentiality of the organi7ation.
