VISIBLE ABSENCE

So lonely...she reflects. Of course...the bird flutters. What about me....? breathes out the lifeless plant. Should I be left out.? echoes the hill.

What a contrast! Black clouds chasing the white ones Not on the sky alone On her too.

Myriad waves To reach her in vain? Magic clouds To hijack her body or soul?

Light and shadow To play hide and seek? Natures contrast and beauty To paint a picture on her too?

Neither the rumble of waves Nor the music of wind Nor the call of the bird Causes ripples in her?

Neither the soft sand Nor the touch of velvety breeze Nor the bubbling froth Soothes her?

Hidden eyes beg to hide But, well exposed is the lonely soul. Folded handstoo cold? Sending warmth over dampened spirit?

Earthly presence Yet, visible absence. So close to everything Yet, so distant from everything!

So blind...so deaf... so still So lostso disengaged All the senses pointing away To .?
