DEFINITION
Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of one group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of others, but may also be autodidactic.

IMPORTANCE
IN GENERAL: Survival of Nation Progress of the Country The importance of education is known to everyone. In todays competitive environment, no nation can survive if its population is un-educated. For a country to progress, its education system needs to evolve all the time.

IN ISLAM
In Quran: It is the men of knowledge who can truly realize God. (35:28)
Hadees Sharif : Attainment of knowledge is a must for every Muslim. (Ibn Majah, Hadees No. 224 )
