PROMOTION TECHNIQUES

Poll hangings and big flexes (size 40 x 30 feet) will be displayed all over
UET with the names of organizers and sponsors.
Shirts will be distributed to the waiters of cafes as a promotion technique.
Volunteers will wear the shirts of marathon and run on the main UET road in
a group for publicity.
Pamphlets will be distributed in students about the event which contains the
information about the green marathon event and the names of organizers and
sponsors.
8 big media groups (Geo news, Express news, Dunya news, Aaj news, Bol
news, ARY news, SAAMA news, Capital news) will be invited for the
coverage of event and there will be one official media partner.
Event will be promoted on social media pages (i.e. Facebook Pages and
Website) with over 100000 users.
Hanging flags on the main Jamya mosque road will be used as a promotion
technique for event.
Wish balloon will be released in ending ceremony that will be attractive
event for the students.
The stadium road will be lightened (with the color of the sponsors) a day
before the event will also be a promotional technique for the green
Marathon.
Vice Chancellor will inaugurate the marathon event by lighting a torch and
plant the tree.
