This module is aimed at say the need and necessities involved at looking after personal computers. Well looked after and maintained systems have good health and are nice to work at. This module is divided into 5 units each emphasizing on the need and way of maintenance . Examples and block diagrams are provided in each unit to make the reader comfortable. Unit 4 is about preparing a "# for network operations% since "# networks are becoming increasingly popular. In this unit% you will explore ways to connect your "# to other computers. There are many ways of interconnecting "#s% and one type is )$* + local area network. Unit 5 discusses the diagnostic tests and tools. The diagnostic software provides the way through which you can examine your system hardware and the way your components are working. The two levels of diagnostic software ",'T and general(purpose is included . The unit also emphasis on the effect of virus and its prevention.
