International Evening Guidelines The International Evening is an informal and relaxed evening in which the participants from each

country are expected to perform a special song or dance from their own country and also have the chance to exhibit the special items* that they have brought with them from their countries.** The Israeli hosts will also be participating in the Evening with either a song or a national dance. As there are usually many countries participating, we respectfully ask you to please ensure that enough time is allowed, to arrange your display on the tables provided, before the performances commence. e therefore recommend that you arrive at least half an hour before the evening is due to commence in order to prepare your display. !ountries will be called upon to perform in alphabetical order. If the participants want to wear their "ational !ostume, this would be most welcomed. The performance should take no longer than five minutes per country. The performances should consist of either a dance or song unique to your country that you would like to share with others# There will be a !$ player available, please note that there are sometimes compatibility problems with the !$ player, so please make sure that you check before the performance with the %ocial !oordinator, that your !$ works on the player provided. There are no facilities for electronic presentations. Please refrain from giving general facts and figures about your country that can be obtained from many sources; this is a cultural evening and therefore a chance to learn something special and unique regarding your country that CANN T be learned from the Internet! atlases! encyclopedias etc" # &lease do not exhibit items of high or sentimental value as 'alillee !ollege is not responsible for any loss of said items. ## &lease also note that if you wish to 'I(E the items away as souvenirs to fellow) participants, 'alillee !ollege staff or members of the *ibbut+, please do this after the evening is over.
