Present tense mutation in 1sg. Imperfect and past participle mutation in all forms. pouto, poutaax, pouten 15.2 -- verbs: trp-, mn-. Present tense mutation in 1sg. but NOT in imperfect and participles. trpljo, but trpax, trpn Irregular: xotti in present; vidti in imperative. 15.3 ()-a- verbs: slya-, draNote: ambiguous stems: boja- and stoja-, which could be confused with those such as sja-, which use Conjuation I. Compare stoit, but set (stojit, sjet). Irregular Conj. No softening PLUS Vowel Mutation: brati, drati, dati, gnati (eno), zvati.

15.7 -no- verbs: rino-, dvignoVowel before -no-: suffix is never lost (rinoti). Consonant before -no-: suffix often is dropped in past tense system (dvignoti). 15.8 Non-suffixed, with root in a consonant other than -j-: nes-, ved-, vez-, greb-, mog-, kln-, jm-, mr-, ivSpecial rules in several consonant groups: Pre-ti changes: vesti, pasti, greti, moti, klti, jti, mrti, iti. Note -r- metathesis before l- and t-participles: mrl 15.9 Basic stem ends in -jSuffixed: dlaj16. Athematic/Irregular Athematic: byti, dati, jasti/sti, vdti, imti Special "Conjugation III" present forms: esm, dam, jam, vm, imam, etc. But the present is not uniform for all five.
