As well, you often push a heavy wheelbarrow to transfer soil or plants to different areas in the greenhouse.

As an Electricians Helper it is your responsibility to assist an electrician as he or she fixes and maintains electrical mechanisms in Ember. Your job requires you to wind and unwind large amounts of electrical wire by hand. As a helper, you often carry materials to and from the job site. This means if the electrician is working up high, you climb ladders with heavy electrical equipment and if the electrician is working in a tight space, you must squeeze through all the necessary materials.

Pipeworks Labourer

As a Pipeworks Labourer you consistently work underground. Your job takes place in a dim part of Ember as there is only some flickering light under the city. Some of your responsibilities include transporting pipe, screws and tools through the lengthy underground tunnel system. This manual labour can quite tiring in the dark underground spaces of Ember.

Doctors Assistant

As an Ember Doctors Assistant you are responsible for helping the doctors of Ember. This includes caring for patients who cannot care for themselves as well as assisting in medical procedures. At times, you are required to lift and move patients, wash and fold laundry by hand, as well as file important medical documents. As well, you are responsible for keeping the hospital clean and orderly. This means that you will often be responsible for mopping and sweeping up different areas in the hospital.

Street Sweeper

As a Street Sweeper, it is your responsibility to keep the streets of Ember spick and span! You will be required to carry a small broom and dustpan to manually sweep up dirt and garbage from the streets. Once a year you and your coworkers will be responsible for carrying buckets of water along the streets to give them a thorough washing.

Supply Depot Clerk

One of the most important jobs in Ember, it is your responsibility to prepare supply orders for citizens. This means that if someone arrives to pick up supplies, you are required to locate the supplies in the warehouse and deliver them to the citizen at the counter. Your work requires you to lift and carry heavy materials across the expansive warehouse often.

Cart Puller

As a Cart Puller, you are responsible for transporting supplies and goods across Ember. You consistently pull your cart to and from places in a reasonable amount of time. One of the most difficult parts of your job is figuring out how to pull your cart up curbs and make sure that it doesnt roll away when you go down slopes. At times you may feel tired and sore but you persevere because your job is so important!

Messenger

Messenger is a vital position in Embers workforce. You are responsible for delivering messages between people all across Ember. Time is always a factor because it is expected that you deliver messages quickly and efficiently. This means that you are constantly running across Ember while dodging obstacles in the street and navigating between people.
