    What are 2 dominant ways that humans alter the carbon cycle?

    Of the 2 ways that you mentioned, which do you think has the greatest impact onshifting carbon from one pool to another pool (fossil and non-fossil carbon)? Two factors that alter the carbon cycle would be land use and the burning of fossil fuels. I think that burning fossil fuels has a bigger impact on shifting carbon because it is responsible for 2/3 of the change of pools versus the 1/3 change by land use.
