To setup and test a seven segment display system to display numbers 0 to 9.

THEORY
T(is needs an asyn&(ronous de&ade &ounter !90) a seven segment display indi&ator #T $!% and a de&oder *drives IC- !!" SEVEN SEGMENT INDICATOR It &onsists o+ seven #ED,s labeled -a, t(roug( -g,. .y +or/ard biasing di++erent #ED,s /e &an display t(e digits 0 t(roug( 9. 0even segment indi&ators are o+ t/o types) &ommon anode and &ommon &at(ode .In &ommon anode type anodes o+ all seven #ED,s are tied toget(er. 1(en &ommon anodes are used) a &urrent limiting resistor must be &onne&ted bet/een every #ED segment and ground. 1(en &ommon &at(ode type is used) a resistor must be &onne&ted bet/een every #ED segment and 23CC.T(e !!" is an a&tive (ig( de&oder /it( output at a&tive (ig( . PROCEDURE 1. Test t(e &omponents and IC pa&'ages using multimeter *digital IC tester. %. 0etup t(e &ir&uit and +eed &lo&' signal to IC !90 &lo&' input and observe t(e de&imal display.
