Hello everyone. Here we are again! Welcome to our fortnightly update via the Amathus Drinks Leadenhall newsletter.

Bringing news from the increasingly fascinating and wonderful world of wines, spirits and liqueurs and where better to start than with our customary update on the changes to our range which are included in our enomatic. Anan, our own agency producer from Chile have released their Pinot Noir and we offer this for to you try from today. A beautiful soft cherry fruit combined with a distinctly earthy note wafts from the glass and meets on the palate, and all for a surprisingly affordable 10.25. Also new and in our enomatic is a blended Friends White from our Californian agency producer Pedroncelli. This is an assemblage of gewrtztraminer, chardonnay and sauvignon and accompanies the Friends Red which is a staple favourite here at Amathus. Its fruit is reminiscent of an Alsace blend, with the tropical notes being led by the spicy gewurtztraminer, it shows a subtle freshness at the end and seems wonderful value at 9.90, so come along and try. We also have a surprise in the form of a good old Cotes du Rhone red. Passion dAnselme is an intriguing bottling, it has age and exudes a dark fruit on the nose with a peppery spice and liquorice note on the palate. We offer this to you at 12 a bottle and these are all available here to sample from our enomatic machine or purchase in store now. Keep your eyes peeled too for other new lines in spirits which include a new range of Japanese whiskies by Yamazaki, rums by St Nicholas Abbey of Barbados and new bourbons in the form of a Stagg Junior, little brother to the more exclusive George T Stagg. We couldnt let this newsletter pass by without a reminder that its Valentines Day around the corner.
