TANGENT A straight line or plane that touches a curve or curved surface at a point, but if extended does not cross

it at that point. DIAMETER

1. A straight line passing from side to side through the center of a body or figure, esp. a circle or sphere. 2. The length of this line.
CHORD A line that links two points on a circle or curve. EXTERNALLY TANGENT

Two circles, neither of which is inside the other, that have a single point in common.

A tangent that is common to two circles and does not intersect the segment joining the centers of the circles is called Common External Tangent.

POINT OF TANGENT
In geometry, the definition point of tangency is the point where a tangent line touches a circle. It does not intersect, but rather touches at a single point, and goes on. Curves and ellipses can also have points of tangency. MINOR ARC The shorter arc joining two points on the circumference (edge) of a circle.

SEMI CIRCLE

1. A half of a circle as divided by a diameter. 2. An object or arrangement of objects or people in the shape of half a circle.
MAJOR ARC The larger arc joining two points on the circumference (edge) of a circle. KINDS OF TRIANGLE

Types of Triangle
a) Right Angled Triangle : Image or Diagram - Right angle triangle is a triangle with one of its angle exactly equal to 90. - As shown in the picture.

a) Obtuse Triangle : Image or Diagram - Obtuse angle triangle is a triangle with one of its angle greater than (>) 90. - As shown in the picture.

a) Acute Triangle : Image or Diagram - Acute angle triangle is a triangle with all three angle less than (<) 90. - As shown in the picture.
