Mini-lesson: Explain to students that there are three different types of procedural text: -explain how to make something work or how it is to be used -instruct how to do a particular activity -deal with human behaviour

Mini-lesson: Hand out a variety of procedural texts to students. Allow them to match them to each criteria, how did they know it went there? Check in: What did students discover? What strategies did students use today? What is something new they learnt about procedural text.
