Analysis of Kelly Clarkson
 From the above images I have seen the camera shot/angle
change various times in the space of 8 seconds.
 Variety of shots and angles; close up
long shot
medium shot
zooms in
pans
 The shots change between 1-3 seconds so they are very quick,
jump cuts to the next shot.
 The location is the same for all shots; a stage/studio.
 She is looking at the camera.
 We are considering using this style of shots for the beginning of
our video.

Analysis of Aly and Aj
 I noticed that there was a bit of the song which
included the artist by herself with a microphone
singing towards the camera; a solo bit.
 This solo bit was quite plain and simple due to the
plain background used. This allowed the audience
to familiarise with the lead singer.
 During this bit, there were two camera shots used;
close up and long shot.
 Shots alternated between 1-2 seconds.

 We liked the idea of

a high angle shot
with the artist
looking into the
camera and singing
towards it.
 It’s a close up shot
of the artist.
