Questions:
1. Whats your passion?
a. What are you using as a stimulus for a performance? What non-theatre element are you researching? My stimulus is the overdose of a famous, iconic star Cory Monteith. I will be research the societys attachment to an actor mostly because of the character developed opposed to the millions of starving children who die every day and have a minute fraction of care the actor does. b. What is your project about? My project is mainly about how priorities are formed by individuals, and the effects changing them would have on a larger scale (towards the community, country and world).

2. Whats new?
c. What new skill or practice are you researching and testing? (i.e. Directing in the style of., costume design, light design, etc.) I will be researching set design in the style for epic theatre (brecht).

3. Whats the take away?

d. What are your aims and objectives for the performance? Despite being aware that the light, directing, costume and other elements may differ from my chosen theatre style, I aim to communicate the general theme and message clearly through set design. Seeing as some areas of costume (if done in another theatre style) may contradict my set piece, I will use this contradiction to enable the audience to understand the message even more clearly.

4. Whats the style?

e. What is the style of your performance? (think theatre practice, genre, etc.) Epic Theatre. f. Who is the performance for? The performance is aimed at secondary students.

g. Why? I want to engage an audience that doesnt usually take initiative in challenging social norms and beliefs, as I believe this piece will require the audience to do.

5. How did the DP Theatre course as a whole influence your IP?

The DP Course has influenced me to not only devise a entertaining piece, but to research specifically on practitioners that had strong beliefs, and theorized that these theatre practices would influence the audience in a specific way. By researching deeply into the practitioners philosophies, I am able to apply the research directly to the set element I will be focusing on to enhance and better communicate the message.
