Dear GAA Community, GAAPA is very excited to announce our rst gala event My African Dream. All proceeds will be donated to Hands4Africa, a charity organization to benet the St Marys English School in Berega, Tanzania. Hands4Africa has very close ties to GAA. Jonathan Ames, our Secondary Social Studies teacher along with his wife Ann, have dedicated their time and skills to the development of St Marys school. Hands4Africa is a 501(c)(3) based in Tampa, Florida USA. It is committed to improving the lives of families in Africa through sustainable solutions to reduce poverty, provide education and improve healthcare. Rural Tanzania is poor and lacks basic essentials like water, shelter, food, education and healthcare. Berega is a village west of the capital. The school was

established in 2011 and expanded from KG to Grade 3 in 2014. The goal is to provide a new grade level each year. THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE USED TO AID: Student scholarships. School expansion. School supplies. Building of water wells. Sponsoring volunteers. To make My African Dream a reality we need the collective help of the GAA Community. Gifts will be recognized by the level of donation. Event booklets available on all guest tables. Event presentation will be displayed on a continuous loop during the evening on a LCD screen inside the ballroom.
