Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with

those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. -Theodore Roosevelt
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit. The members of Sundaram house always travel an extra mile to excel in this art. We believe that efforts can only be transformed into success with toil and determination. We make our every duty our desire. We are people of simple tastes easily satisfied with the best. It is said that success is not final, failure is not fatal but it is the courage to continue that counts. Accepting defeats with triumph and playing until we get it right is what our House believes in, as we deem that failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor. The session 2013-2014 has been an eventful one and our achievements in this session have been myriad. Sundaram house, in its Pursuit of Excellence has always striven for perfection, scaling new heights in every sphere, be it Sports, Debates, InfoTech, Dance or being All Round Achievers.
