Funding plea: MORE cash is needed to finish off the work to refurbish St
thomas’s Church, in Parkgate.
to date, a total of £251,000 has been raised to transform the old Fisherman’s Church
into a church and community hall for Parkgate.
Major structural work has been carried out to make the building safe, including
stabilising the walls, a new roof, new lighting, heating, kitchen and disabled access.
Work to follow includes new

are to be given the opportunity to join
two brand new community choirs this
autumn.

Youth opportunities Fund and PAYP
(Positive Activities for Young People),
Neston Youth Choir (for 13-19 year
olds) and Neston Children’s Choir (for
7-12 year olds) have been able to start
rehearsals.
