Philosophy of Teaching Every student has the ability to learn.

As a science educator, I will provide an environment that promotes growth and learning that is effective in student understanding of the scientific discipline. I will guide students through scientific thought processes and research processes to create a better understanding of science. I would like to build bridges and close gaps between the major concepts of physical science, life science, and earth and space science in order to show the relationships among the different science fields. My goal as an educator is to motivate students to learn. I will do this by being prepared and creating lessons that are fun and beneficial to the students. As an instructor I will continue to learn up to date teaching strategies and provide current information to the students. I will provide information accurately and in a manner that excels student enthusiasm and desire to learn by using hands on experiments that reinforce the information and show relationships to real world experiences.
