Dear Jon:

We are looking forward to your group participating in the 2009 MSU Stadium Clean-Up.
You are scheduled to clean the stadium on Sunday, November 8th.

We ask that you supply a minimum of 100 people for the morning clean up. Please try to
have roughly one adult leader for every ten students. If these two areas are fulfilled, the

clean up will take less than two hours.

Please pass the following information on to your group:

1. Arrive at the stadium ready to work by 7:40 a.m.

2. Enter the stadium at the Southwest entrance (closest to the track).
3. The clean up will take place rain or shine!!!
4. Parkwood YMCA Service Club will have several members at the stadium to provide
direction to your leaders.
5. MSU will provide all trash receptacles.
6. Workers need to dress for the weather and bring their own gloves.
7. Please do not bring rakes, brooms or shovels.

8. Hot chocolate and donuts will be provided following the clean up.

Payment for the 2009 season will be $1,000 per clean up. All groups will be paid in late
November or early December when payment has been received from MSU.

We appreciate your participation in the 2009 Stadium Clean-Up. I think you will find
this to be a rather easy fund-raiser for your group, as well as a great community project.
Remind your students that the additional proceeds the YMCA Service Club takes in goes
to provide scholarships for hundreds of Lansing area children to YMCA summer camps.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call. We look forward to
seeing you on Sunday, November 8th.
