The details of fee prescribed by the Committee on Fixation of fee in respect of SelfFinancing Professional Colleges for the years 2010-11 to 2013-14 are given in the Annexure. The Principals of all Self-Financing Engineering Colleges are requested to collect only the applicable fee after proper deductions as noted below: For students admitted prior to 2013-14 1. Tuition fee concession for First Generation Graduates Rs.20,000/For students admitted during 2013-14 1. Tuition fee concession for First Generation Graduates Rs.20,000/2. Initial payment paid by the student at the time of Counselling (Rs.5,000/- for General and Rs.1,000/- for SC/SCA/ST) Centrally assisted Adi-Dravida Scholarship Scheme: For students belonging to SC/SCA/ST/Adi-Dravida students converted to Christianity communities who are eligible under the Centrally assisted Adi-Dravida scholarship scheme (i.e. annual parental income is less than 2.5 lakhs in respect of SC/SCA/ST students and Rs.2.0 lakhs for Adi-Dravida students converted to Christianity) no fee should be collected from the student as per provisions in G.O. (Ms.) No.6, Adi Dravida and Tribal Welfare (ADW-3) Department, dated 9.1.2012. Any complaint received regarding excess fee collection will be referred to Committee to enquire and inspect Educational Institutions on Fee for necessary action.
