The Caste System


The Aryans where the ones who bring the idea that people were divided into castes, this became part of the Hinduism.

In Hinduism, there is a way to enter into a higher caste, even for the untouchables. Hindus believe in the reincarnation, after death a persons soul is born again in a new body, if this person lives a good life, he or she will be reborn into a higher caste otherwise they will reborn into a lower caste.

Hinduism Gods
Brahma: The god of creation, he is often referred to as the progenitor or great grandsire of all human beings. Vishnu: as the all-pervading essence of all beings, the master ofand beyondthe past, present and future, the creator and destroyer of all existences, one who supports, sustains and governs the universe and originates and develops all elements within. Shiva: ("auspicious one) is the destroyer, he is considered the Supreme God within Shaivism.

Buddha
Siddartha Gautama was born around 527 B.C. in northern India. He was a prince, his father wanted to protect him from the sadness of the world so he kept his son inside the palace. When Siddartha was 30 years old, he left the palace for the first time, he wanted to know what was real life. He was shocked by everything he saw; a dead body, a sick man, he saw beggar. Everywhere he look there was suffering. He wandered around India, read loads of books, study the holy Vedas, but still he couldnt find any answer. So one day he decided not to move un til he found the secret of life, he sat underneath a tree, enlightenment came, he felt he saw the truth for the first time therefore he became known as the BUDDAH!
