Learners who successfully complete this course will:

Learn how to set up a computer and connect different devices to it Learn about different types of computers and key computer terms, Learn how to keep their computer and its contents safe Learn about Internet safety Learn how to create files and save them on the computer Learn how to use the word processor and spread-sheets Use email to send and receive files, photos Improve communication skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking Improve everyday math skills

Where: Trim ALPHA Centre When: Two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday Time: 9.30 2.30 Starts: Ends: 18th March 2014 6th November 2014

This course will lead to a FETAC Level 3 Major Award in Information Technology Skills There will be an opportunity to progress to the next level and ECDL There are a limited number of low cost childcare places available

This course is FREE to Adult early school leavers
