Obedience Brings Growth

February 23-March 1, 2014

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source.

When we obey Gods Word our spirit will grow.

. . .we will obey the voice of the Lord. . . Jeremiah 42:6

God, I worship You with all my heart. I want to know You by reading Your Word, listening to You, going to church, and being willing to forgive others. Thank You for good teachers and help me to choose good friends. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor Ron and his family with strength and grace. Help me to look for ways to bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

As a boy, David was sent out to care for his fathers sheep. David kept his sheep safe by fighting off a lion and a bear. He was a worshipper, too, and had great faith in God. When David saw that the mean Philistine, Goliath, was wanting to fight Gods people, David bravely volunteered. He knew that God would be with him. He picked up several small stones and, with his sling, brought the big giant down. 1 Samuel 17:32-54

Proverbs 3:5 I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding.
