THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS MVCC NEEDS YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!

First, thank you for the support thus far - we wouldnt have been victorious without it. As you are aware, the candidates we supported won in the Mesquite Vistas Community election defeating two incumbents that the Community Manager and the Board President campaigned for. Nearly 600 ballots were submitted proving that we, the Mesquite Vistas Owners, are not simply unit numbers we have a voice to be heard and we are sending a very powerful message. Filling the Mesquite Vistas meeting room to nearly its capacity from MVCC last year helped tremendously to ignite the flame and restore energy during some of the dark times that we encountered. Have you quit? We still have more work before us our rights as Owners to be heard as well as our rights as Owners to be restored. WHATS NEXT? The Steering Committee is accepting suggestions and compiling a list of issues and matters that will need to be addressed following input at a meeting of the MVCC. We need YOUR input, it is important and vital. We would like to establish regular days and times for our meetings. The web site will be refreshed and updated. Announcements to visit the page will be generated through the Mesquite newspaper media. We will be requesting that an official complaint be added to the March 20, 2014 Mesquite Vistas board meeting agenda for a violation of the Mesquite Vistas Bid Opening Policy. The Resolution includes requirements pertaining to a request for proposal (RFP) and sealed bid process. These requirements were blatantly ignored and resulted in awarding of the management contract to Terra West a clear violation. Please mark your calendar to attend this Board Meeting. We believe this to be a serious matter that needs to be addressed. More information to follow regarding this issue.
