STEP 1: BODY OF BAG Chain 63 + 4, turn Row 1: DC in 5th ch from hook, CH 1, [skip next st, DC, CH 1] repeat to end, CH 4, turn Row 2: DC in previous row DC, CH 1, [skip next st, DC, CH 1] repeat to end, CH 4, turn Repeat Row 2 using colors listed below. 14 rows of grey 6 rows of blue 1 row of grey 1 row of blue 1 row of grey 14 rows of blue 1 row of grey 1 row of blue 1 row of grey 6 rows of blue 14 rows of grey Create chains long enough to weave thru DC piece leaving in on either side. 6 grey 1 blue 1 grey 1 blue 14 grey 1 blue 1 grey 1 blue 6 grey
Weave ends of chains back into piece so there are no hanging threads or chains.

STEP 2: SIDES & TOP Fold so that short side are together at top. Row 1: Attach yarn to corner of bag, [CH 1, 1 SC in ea CH space] across. Row 2: CH 1, [1 SC, 1 SCdec] across. Row 3: CH 1, [1 SC] across. Repeat rows on each side of bag. On top (short sides) add 5 rows of SC to make a total of 8 rows
STEP 3: HANDLES
USE 2 STRANDS OF YARN & J Hook FOR HANDLES! Need to keep sts TIGHT!
MAKE 2 HANDLES Row 1: CH 8 Row 2: 1 HDC in 2nd CH from Hook, 1 HDC in ea st, turn, CH 2. (7 HDC + 1 CH3=8 st) Row 3: 1 HDC in ea st, turn, CH 2. (8) Repeat row 3 until handle is desired length. FO; leaving long tail. MAKE 4 TABS Row 1: CH 8

Row 2: 1 HDC in 2nd CH from Hook, 1 HDC in ea st, turn, CH 2 (7 HDC & 1 CH3) Row 3: 1 HDC in ea st, turn, CH 2. Repeat row 3 until tab is 2 tall. FO; leaving long tail. Attach rings to handles & tabs leaving long tail.
