This document summarizes the capabilities of an automated SMD assembly line for PCB manufacturing. The line can mount components as small as 0.4mm and place them on both sides of boards from 100mm x 100mm up to 300mm x 300mm in size. It has a placement accuracy of +/-0.03mm and can handle up to 65 placement heads simultaneously. The line includes built-in optical inspection of print areas and automatic optical inspection of solder joints. It also has facilities for manual mounting of leaded components as well as lead-free soldering quality control and in-circuit testing. The line includes repair stations, environmental stress screening chambers, bump and vibration testing machines, and automated functional testing using radio
