Anecdotal & Running Record notes about nature Anecdotal: Every day if it is nice out we go outside for a walk,

lately we have been going to the nature trail and walking through it. Every time we go in the nature trail the children find pine cones, leaves and sticks and they would want to pick them up and keep it. The children are quiet interested in the nature they find in the nature trail. They love finding them, when we would walk through I see childrens heads move all around looking everywhere in the trail trying to spy a pine cone or a stick they could pick up.

Running Record: 5 minutes (L) -playing in the sand -finding rock -putting it aside -running to the tree to find a leaf, found one and brought it over near the rock -lays down on her back -looks up at the sky -closes eyes -pulls the grass with her fingers -she gets up and sees a dandelion -walks over and picks it -brought it over to where the rock and leaf are -picks up all 3 items and shows the supervisor her collection -than she puts them down
