Learning Communities
Honors students are not required to live on campus. Students who live off-campus are invited to participate in one of our learning communities. Visit, http://honors.utah.edu/first-year-Iearning-communities, for more information.
Orientation
In order to register for classes, you must first attend Summer Orientation. You will have the chance to meet with someone in your major to map out your first semester. The Honors College participates in every Orientation so that you can receive information on the classes to take within the Honors curriculum. We encourage you to sign up for Orientation early so that you will have an opportunity to get into your desired classes. In order to register for Orientation you need to pay your enrollment deposit for the University of Utah. Please look at the Orientation website for more information: http://www.sa.utah.edu/orientation/. By paying your Enrollment Deposit, we will know that you will be coming to the U and participating in the Honors College. After May 1, we will send you more information about the Honors College. We hope that your decision to join the Honors College will be as rewarding for you as it is for our students who are already in the program. We look forward to your participation in the Honors community. Sincerely,
