Blood Red Snow White He leaned in to kiss her on her cherry red lips.

Suddenly, the prince leaped back, Snow White

snarled with a murderous look in her eye. My love, what hath become of thee? She leapt forward, coming closer, 20, 10, 5 feet away. I sat perched on a branch overseeing the interaction. She grabbed the prince between the head and shoulder ducking into his neck to complete the transformation. She sucked the blood through the cartoroid vein leaving only a dribble going down her chin she wiped away with her white dress, leaving a red stain. Soon the dress would be covered in red. She was a demon; she was Blood Red Snow White.

The queens cloak billowed against the wind. My sweetheart, you couldnt hide from me. She turned to the right, running straight for a tree. The front disappeared leaving an empty opening with a cradled figure. She held in her hand a picture, a picture of the girl she once was, no longer innocent, frailunchanged. Mother, Im ready. She slowly unfolded, tears dried in her eyes, cold and accepting, for she realized she no longer could change her fate. The mother leaned in offering her blood to her daughter. Before she could change her mind, Snow White leaned in and drank. She lifted her head, This will save my prince. she told herself convincingly. Of course. The queen said, smiling mercilessly as she lifted her hands to snap her daughters neck.

I woke on a cold slab of stone. I saw a figure leaning init was my prince. I tried to warn him, as a wave of hunger rushed through my body, I was rushed with adrenaline, hungry for his blood. I tried to stop, but he was helpless and so was I. Mother had lied, I realized it couldnt have

been the first time, so they say. Suddenly, I leaped out with power that was not my own and killed him; the urge for human blood was too strong.

Mommy, Im scared. Lily ran downstairs, awakened by her dream. Mommy there was a vampire and a prince and a queen and she was about to kill me when Lily reached the kitchen and saw the nightmare of her dream sprawling over her mother. She was almost gagging from the intake of blood when Lily did what any child would do. She cried out for her mommy. Mommy wont help you no little girl. Snow sprinted, almost floating, across the kitchen and sprung onto the girl. Daddy, the stars, I can see the stars. Snow froze, as she was about to lean for the kill. Little girl, what did you just say? Snow backed away thinking of a faraway village.

Daddy, daddy higher, push me higher. I screamed with glee. I sat on the swings when father suddenly grabbed me, as we rushed off into the woods. Daddy, whats wrong? This had happened before, every time leading me to a new home, a new place. Day turned to night and like every night I stared up glaring through the always-misty canopy. Daddy, the stars, I can see the stars. Honey, there are no more stars, not since the transformation began. The Vampires ruled over the lands, gradually raising their numbers preparing for the War, at least thats what daddy thinks. I was like the vampires, I could see through numbers, predicting and preparing for the future. Even I couldnt run forever though. The Vampires were an elite, led by my mother all of them gifted like me.

She ran as she had been taught; never stop running. She ran from her mother, her dead father, her life. All her life she had been running, and everyday she was more scared than the last. She ran until she found a hut, inhabited by the seven Hunters. They all were fighters, zealots protecting their father above. She stayed with them until she had to run again, but they had taught her the ways of the forest, arming her with her wits and knowledge. The Lords had sent them, spies of the enemies of the Vampires. They had knowledge far beyond the extent of human capacity, for knowledge in numbers was not everything, patterns and omens had grasp on their minds as well.

Snow had left, and soon after she fell in love with a Lord. His name was Prince and although forbidden, they had never felt as in love as they did with each other. The queen found out, and thereafter kidnapped Prince. Snow was desperate, unable to survive without Prince she arranged to meet. It was only too late when Snow remembered to run. She hid in the hollow of a tree hidden with the cloud of deception a gift taught by the Lords, and yet the queen had been trained to fight by the elders and soon she discovered the enclosed Snow. The queen had come through on her promise-leading Prince to his Snow White on both their deathbeds. Snow where she would be forever changed into a Vampire, Prince never to set his eyes on the sun again.

I dont know where she has gone, but she is still there. If only, I had foreseen this, was I the one in charge of her fate? In my head flies millions of possibilities, and yet this one was clouded to me. Was it merely my delusion or have I been tricked. She was unlike those before, and yet history has repeated, another death, another life, another tragedy, another victory, and yet she

found an innocent soul that harbored her own, shaping it as a mold. It snapped the little hope left, but it is still there, I am still here. Maybe, I will let this arrow fly straight, for she has crushed the seed of hope in others. Is her life worth more than them; am I their unspoken savior? I do not know but this arrow will fly into her, the Queen of my hatred, I am changed, and my soul is still snow white, my hands blood red.
