PROJECT WORK: General information

Project Name: Poster contest

School Name and Class: Escuela Naciones Unidas / 6º “C”

Date: From November 18th 2009 to November 02nd 2009.

Brief Description:
We are going to spend three classes on our project, which consists on students making
posters in order to get to know themselves and each others expressing their ideas using
Present Simple and Future Tense.
The students will have to identify a goal in their lives, being aware of their present
situation, and therefore, being able to change their current situation to finally reach their
purposes.
This would be shared with the classmates by writing it on the posters that will be
sticked on the walls of the classroom.
Students will be competing; the most creative poster (design, relation between images
and words, etc.) will be the winner.

Objective(s):
- To make students take conscience of their present situation in their lives so they
realize what their projects or wishes for the future are.

- To help them find the changes they have to make in order to reach their goals.
- To make students imagine themselves in the future once they have introduced
those changes in their lives.
- To make students practice the tenses acquired in class.

Required material: card paper, scissors, glue, images, pictures and everything they can
think of.
