Course Information
Marine Biology Is A General Biology 11 Science Course With An Emphasis On Marine Mammals
Letter Grades: Standard School Letter Grades Apply
C- = 50-59%, C = 60-66%, C+ = 67=72%, B = 73-85%, A= 86-100 %
Classroom Rules:
1. No cell phones unless prearranged with the teacher 2. No Food or Drinks a. You should wash your hands after leaving the classroom 3. If you dont know please ask. Before not after. a. If elementary students know it is wrong you should too.

Evaluation
Material handed in late will be omitted; material not handed in will score a zero
Exams: = 50% Each unit will have on major exam based on the unit concept, terms, diagrams and supplementary material (readings, assignments, lectures, & video) Students must have a school valid excuse for missing an exam. Make up days will be assigned Each section with in the unit will have a quiz. Quizzes can only be done on the day of the quiz, and with a valid excuse the quiz will be omitted Each unit will have one or more research assignment. Assignments must be handed in before the quiz/test in-order to get marks. Each term will have a number of labs to help reinforce the concepts being taught Labs must be done on time: late labs will result in an omit and labs handed in after the unit test will score zero
