Overview
You need to produce a document that outlines your proposed research topic and program of research. Quality rather than quantity is the key to a good proposal (as a guide we are looking for 1000-2000 words). One of the major reasons why applications for postgraduate research are rejected is that the research proposal is not strong enough. Writing a research proposal takes time and should not be rushed.
