In math class we have recently been working on converting calories from fat to a percentage.

We have done this in making a breakfast. This is how you calculate the percentage of calories from fat. First, find the foods you want to calculate. Find out how many calories they have, and how many calories from fat they have. The rest doesnt really matter, unless you are calculating that. Second, with all of those foods, you need to add up the total calories. To do this, take all of the foods, see how many total calories there are, and then add them up. Also do this with the calories from fat. Then, you are going to divide the calories from fat by the total calories. Take the 3 digits from the right of the decimal. Take the 3rd number to the left and if it is higher than 4, round the up the 2nd number to the left of the decimal. I managed to make a meal on the study link that had less than 30% calories from fat. Mine had 27% calories from fat, and the morning after that I had that particular breakfast. It was a piece of toast with a pat of butter, yogurt, scrambled eggs, and some skim milk. The thing is, I added some jelly on my toast for breakfast :D. It was pretty easy to make a healthy breakfast, and since I got it on the first try, I was pretty proud of myself. Altogether, it does not have a lot of fat, so I would probably eat this later on in the future because it is a yummy and healthy breakfast :P.
