This week in Math 6, we are currently working on calculating rates, and we are finding out the unit rate.

For our task, we had a chart that was filled with a lot of different food (lunch) choices. The chart that was given also lists the total calories, calories for fat, calories for carbohydrates, and the calories from protein. We had to list 5 things from the list, and after we have done that we put the information that I listed before. Then, we add it all up into the total for each row and list the percent that I list before. For the result I got the total of all of the information that I listed before and divided it form the total calories. I learned that calories are important. To me the easy part was calculating everything up to its sum. The difficult part was trying to find the correct percent. I got the correct result that the teacher did. No, I do not have any questions. When I get older, I will be able to use this to calculate my calories for what I eating. am
