Sturgeons life cycling ways help them survive

Sturgeons life cycling ways help them survive. When Sturgeon eggs hatch, the baby fish is called, Larvae. Larvae live their first 12~14 days of food supply on a food bag they are born with called the Yolk sac. I think the baby sturgeon would die very quickly if the Yolk Sac didnt exist. The Yolk sac is the one that helps the baby Sturgeon have time to learn to eat-How would they survive if they dont know how to eat? Dont you agree? After the Sturgeon learns to eat and the Yolk Sac runs out, they can feed on tiny, small Aquatic sea plants and animals. After the Sturgeon survived 20~30 days, they turn into the next stage of their life, AKA Fry. Sturgeon fry is the next stage, like human babies to children. Fry earns tiny Scutes and barbels. The sturgeon fish get Things called Scutes instead of scales like most fish. They only get Scutes on the upper part, side, and belly of the

body, and the rest of the skins turn into hard, armor-like skin. The Scutes form because for example, when they are about to get eaten and their enemy bites, they will bite on the Scutes and it will give a lot of pain, while it gives time for the sturgeon to swim away. The Barbels are important as the Scutes. The Barbels are like sensors to the Sturgeon. It can sense when an enemy is around, when something to feed on is around and where they are (habitat) and if it is safe to be around. Without the Barbels, the Sturgeon will not be able to know where to get food, where the enemies are, and if where they are deadly/dangerous. Then they turn into Juvenile. Juveniles are like teens as humans and at this stage the sturgeon is forming into the adult and starts to grow mature. Juveniles can swim well and can prey on some live creatures. At their first year in the life cycle, they are between 15~30 cm in length. Larger ones couldve been fed more nutritious prey items and lived in warmer waters. The speed of the Juvenile sturgeon growth slows down as it gets larger. They

grow 7 cm each year until up to about 120cm, then 5 cm a year until up to 150, then 3 cm a year until 150~170cm. Sturgeon are considered adults when they have the ability to spawn. They do not stop growing, though. Older females do not spawn frequently, while on the other hand the young ones spawn more than the old ones. But neither of them spawn as much as a male. The male spawns every year, but we do not know yet how often they spawn in a year. Then the sturgeon will die and its eggs will become a new one and will go on.
