Project Objectives

-Research the five types of retaining walls, taking into mind their structure, shape, and design, and select the type best suited to fit the structure of the materials. -The objective of this project is to design and construct a retaining wall made solely out of one sheet of 32 by 40 foam core board and Elmers glue. -The retaining wall must be able to withstand 18 inches by 24 inches of sand followed by a top load of about 200 pounds. No other external forces may be applied to the retaining wall.
