    In this project we have proposed a method to calculate the energy and mass flow rates of crude oil distillation products in refinery. This task will be achieved by using MATLAB Graphic User Interface (GUI) in which layout for the known as well as for unknown quantities will be designed. Interface will be designed in such a way that user will simply input the crude oil mass flow rate and temperature for the furnace; all the unknown quantities w.r.t various distillation products will be calculated.

This task will be achieved by using MATLAB Graphic User Interface (GUI) in which layout for the known as well as for unknown quantities will be designed. Interface will be designed in such a way that user will simply input the crude oil mass flow rate and temperature for the furnace; all the unknown quantities w.r.t various distillation products will be calculated. Process coding to carry out desired calculations w.r.t to furnace and plate column.
